Talk to a local dr: With type 1 DM, you are aware of how to handle your insulin on sick days. this is taught by whoever has been managing your Diabetes. Since you are seeing blood in stool, it should not be taken lightly and you should speak to your local physician IMMEDIATELY so emergent care is not delayed. Bleeding can get worse. Feeling exhausted/cold may be a sign that BP is low from blood loss/dehydration
