Im 65 and have borderline cholesterol (229 and ratio of 4:6) for the last ten years. i am not on a statin, dont smoke, dont drink, dont have diabetes or hi blood pressure. should i be worried about plaque build up and should i start in a statin?

Lipid profile: What are the values of LDL , HDL and triglycerides? You want them within normal range too, especially triglycerides would be below 100 is better, besides keeping a healthy lifestyle, low dose statins would be helpful if numbers are out of range, otherwise no need , in my opnion, wish you wellness
