I recently got diagnosed with high cholesterol and pre diabetes. i don't want to take statins so i was wondering if it was possible to lower it with diet and exercise and fish oil? i've already lost 14 pounds and have been on a diet since finding out?

Cholesterol: Good work on losing 14 lbs! This is one way to lower cholesterol and decrease risk of developing diabetes. Plant based diet, avoiding sugar rich and processed foods are helpful. Fish oil may decrease triglycerides but can increase LDL cholesterol. Better to eat real fish and get natural nutrients plus protein.
