IBS: Does your symptom occur after a normal BM? If your BM's are loose, some residual colon spasm could be occurring. Although it is less common, abdominal discomfort after a BM can occur in IBS. If you strain to have a BM this muscular strain could cause your symptom. You may want to consult a gastroenterologist if this is a common occurrence.
