A member asked:

When losing weight do you have to count calories still?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessary: Monitoring your weight regualrly is an easier way to control your weight than counting calories. All you have to do is set a goal of losing about 1 or 2 pounds per week and adjust your eating down till you achieve your set goal for your weight. Besides eating less you should exercise daily and burn 100 to 200 calories a day which takes about 30-45 minutes of moderate exercise like brisk walking.
