Upper l 1st molar pulled 4mths ago. bone has not grown in completely & endodontist is saying i have osteomylitis since i still have pain & bone not filled in. does it take longer than 4mths for bone to grow back in? should i get a second opinion.

Osteomyelitis: If you still have an infection in that area four months after the extraction it's not surprising that the bone is not filling in. How is the infection being treated? Do you plan on having an implant placed? You may need additional bone grafting. Discuss with your providers.
