I have had enlarged lymph nodes for 2 years. not growing, but not going away. have had ultrasound a year ago. fatty hilium and thin cortex result. ?

Lymphnode: Hilus is the area where the vessels run into the "bean shaped" lymph gland. The lymph gland typically has white blood cells in it, but as time goes on they diminish and are replaced with fat. Atleast no evidence for tumor which would be a proliferation of cells.
