Sure: It never hurts to get a second opinion. A biopsy is a simple thing to do. Especially on this type of easily accessable node. Also need to to work up why you have the lymphnode inflamed. Is there an underlying infection that needs to be sought out ?

Or watch and wait: You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
