The same: Often you will here the terms trace, mild or moderate tricuspid regurgiation. In general trace and mild are essentially the same. The key is more when the valve is dilated or does not close to greater than 40mm or is associated with signs of dilation of right atrium. This is criteria which your cardiologist may act on to fix (valve surgery or procedure).
