A member asked:

Echocardiogram results. mildly thick mitral valve. tricuspid valve structurally normal but, shows trace of regurgitation. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Both normal: Both are normal. All normal people have tricuspid regurgitation. This is a 100% normal finding. Thickening of the mitral valve is over-read. It appears in many reports. It has absolutely no clinical significance. Honestly! Please don't give it another thought.
