A member asked:

Is it normal or safe if my hr bpm is 47-49 just waking up in bed? any signs to let me know if its bad etc? what to look for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal heart rate: is 60-100 bpm. 47-49 indicates what is referred to a bradycardia, so it is very imprtant to get evaluated with an EKG and a 24 hr. heart monitor. See your primary or a cardiologist.
