8 hours: Sleeping from 10PM to 6 AM is a good night's sleep. You may be ok with 7 hours of quality sleep If you feel well rested after being up and about. Avoid caffeine, nicotine in the afternoon hours and don't eat or exercise for 2 hours before going to bed. Try not to use your smartphone or laptop then either.
