Recommend exam: Many people feel tired in the afternoon, esp after a large lunch and would benefit from a nap, but if afternoon tireness is new, a checkup is recommended and may include labs for thyroid, mono, anemia. Review your alcohol and caffeine and chocolate intake, as you body may be waiting for it's next "hit." Often, a change of routine, such as mild exercise, will counter that afternoon slugishness.
