On my cbc test my monocytes was normal but my monocytes absolute was high. why is that? had mono a month earlier broke out in rash etc from penicillin

Wouldn't be odd: Some of the symptoms/lab changes seen in mono can linger for up to 3 months. I would not loose any sleep over this one test.
