Need biopsy!: Most thyroid nodules aren't serious and don't cause symptoms. Thyroid cancer accounts for just a small percentage of thyroid nodules. It's not possible to say whether or not the nodule is cancer until the biopsy is done. However, even if cancer is present please don't give up since the cure rates for thyroid cancer are overall very good. I wish you well with your health!
