FNA: Sounds like you had a fine needle aspirate of the thyroid. You may have gotten the diagnosis of a follicular lesion. It is difficult on a needle aspirate to differentiate a,follicular adenoma,from carcinoma,and from a hyperplastic nodule. The tissue diagnosis nay have been more specific . Get a second opinion and gave an expert pathologist review your slides and biopsies.
