Depression: Please think holistically, Meds can be helpful but your lifestyle can help a great deal. What is your diet like? What is your exercise level? Do you get enough rest? How much alcohol? Please see a nutritionist or someone else to guide you to whom you can be accountable. Peace and good health.

Many options : Antidepressant meds don't help many people and adco alzem can cause depression! It's wise to combine with other treatments like counseling and exercise.Try eating mostly organic foods and avoiding gluten.Supplements like B complex with methylfolate, fish oil, magnesium and curcumin often help. Check for hypothyroidism, a common cause which many doctors miss- see https://tinyurl.com/yyp9bkon

Agree with Drs. S&A: Exercise is a great medication for depression. If you can manage to get half hour of exercise each morning, it will help a lot. It may be the last thing you want to do when you are depressed, but it is very useful.
