Needs Examination: A lesion that has not healed on its own within a two week period needs to b evaluated. Please see an oral surgeon.

Possibly: Any pain, bleeding, or swelling deserves evaluation. Any lesion in the mouth of longer than 2 week's duration requires immediate evaluation. Please see your General Dentist, or preferably a specialist Oral Surgeon, for examination, evaluation, and (if required) treatment.
