Sinusitis : Sinus problems are commonly associated with viruses or allergies. When the nose is congested or there is a nasal or sinus blockage preventing the drainage of the sinuses. Then a build-up of fluid and/or mucus in the sinus can be painful. Under rare conditions, sinusitis can get infected with bacterial requiring an antibiotic. Sinusitis usually does not need an antibiotic to improve. See an ENT.
