Ovarian cyst ?'s : A complex ovarian cyst (septations, internal echoes) requires a tissue biopsy, and this is done easily by operative laparoscopy. Your physician may consider removal of the ovary to reduce the incidence of accidental "spill" of the cyst contents.

Recent tv ultrasound found a complex lesion, non cystic, measuring 1.4cm. My estrone is at 260 pg/ml & total estrogen is over 975pg/ml. MRI showed "normal ovary". Could the MRI have missed the lesion? Or could it have disappeared in 10 days?
