Hi there.. I have recently had an ultrasound which showed a Rt ovarian follicular cyst with fluid around the Rt ovary. How serious is this condition?
Recent tv ultrasound found a complex lesion, non cystic, measuring 1.4cm. My estrone is at 260 pg/ml & total estrogen is over 975pg/ml. MRI showed "normal ovary". Could the MRI have missed the lesion? Or could it have disappeared in 10 days?
MRI results: There are subcentimeter ovarian follicles, bilaterally. Trace free fluid adjacent to the right ovary. The uterus is grossly unremarkable, except for a cervical nabothian cyst measuring about 3 mm. Is this all normal? Meaning? Thank you?
History of rectal carcinoid and total hysterectomy. 2015/2018/2020 CT scans all show cyst on left ovary. Is that strange as shouldnt they go away. CA-125 normal. Vag ultrasound shows cyst. Gyn says wait. Carcinoid doctor wants to do BSO. Conflicted?
