The short answer: is yes. Oral intake of fluids decreases, diets higher in highly digestable foods and lower in fiber, along with decreased activity levels occur with age leading to less frequent bowel movements that seem to take longer to pass. That being said you should really have a colonoscopy at your age and schedule it soon.
