Immediate exam: You will need a rectal exam to check for inflamed or infected hemorrhoids, fissures , cuts, fistulas, colitis or polyps. You may need anoscopy. sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy. You can try using Anusol HC ( hydrocortisone) rectal cream or suppositories. You must be seen by a gastroenterologist. DO NOT IGNORE THESE SYMPTOMS!
