Varicose veins on hands are common starting what age group in women? 40s?

Hand veins: Hand veins increase in size and disability as we age due to loss of tissue volume and increased elasticity of the skin. Other factors such as hormones, genetics and trauma may also play a role. Enlarging hand veins can occur at any age but seem to be most prominent from about 40 and older.
