Many conditions : There are several possible causes of a rash during the first month of life. Infection and allergic reactions should be considered. Baby acne is another cause. Use a fragrance free baby soap for bathing every 5 to 7 days. Pat the skin dry and a baby eczema cream can be applied, until you see your PCP.

See pediatrician : Does baby have fever, chills, irritable and poor feeding? please see the doctor for a check up sooner than later. Baby didn’t get his/her 2 month shots yet so higher risk of infections. Most likely a hormonal rash but a baby that young should be seen by the doctor. Might be formula allergy/eczema? Not sure.
