My wake up (fasting) blood sugar levels vary greatly! 82 some days, 110 other days. most common is high 90s. are such fluctuations normal?

Blood sugar: Morning blood sugar varies depending on your diet, morning stress or hormone levels. If it is 110 in the morning at times before eating, it may be pre-diabetes. Establishing care with a primary care doctor is a great way to prevent health care issues. I encourage you to find one.

Pre diabetes is when fasting glucose levels are from 100-125 and A1c is between 5.7 to 6.4. The diagnosis and treatment of prediabetes has had been an aggressive campaign to help prevent diabetes. Diabetes starts at an Hg A1c of 6.5.
