PCOS ?: PCOS may be accompanied by insulin resistance (IR), and may be related to growth of a pituitary tumor, however, decreased pituitary releasing hormones may affect ovulation, and provide the basis for PCOS, but if prolactin levels are high, the pituitary tumor may interfere also with vision. Make sure you are followed by a neurosurgeon for the pituitary tumor.
