I have been prescribed neophedan and zolodex for breast cancer post chemo and radiation tx. what are the side effects of this?

Meds with breast ca.: Neophedan (tamoxifen) blocks estrogen receptor sites and helps decrease growth of breast cancer cells with HR positive breast cancer. Zoledex works to block pituitary releasing factors for ovarian production of estrogen, so side effect will include less libido, diminished menstrual bleeding, and other dermatologic effects of lower estrogen. Talk to your oncologist for more detail.
