Hi! im away on holidays in the dominican republic and im having some swelling in my right leg mostly on the foot and some minor swelling of the face?

Swelling: itchy? painful? Red? Go to ER. May be allergic reaction or infection. If it were only of the foot would also consider clot in the leg which is serious. Go to ER today

I'm not sure what: your exact question is but swelling has a myriad of causes most of which are benign. In your case your cheery presentation would suggest you have no other concerns and that the swelling was not massive, painful or associated with a significant rash. Does elevation aid in the right leg, do you have varicosities or have you been treated before for tight leg edema? Prior surgeries of leg, weight?
