T/C cancer: Cicatrix is a scar left by the formation of new connective tissue over a healing sore or wound. Mouth cancers generally start as a lump, bump or patch in the mouth. Not every lump or bump turns out to be cancer, but it is a good idea to check out any questionable lesions with a biopsy. Cancers treated in earlier stages of development usually have better outcomes. Best of luck!
