I have been described ciprofloxacin and a metrol dose pack for my symptoms, however i still have a lingering dry cough . i also took claritin thinking it was an allergy. the cough seems to happen at night ?

If overall you are feeling better then cough may subside soon but if it persists then some patients need inhalers if they have asthma or COPD.
