Hi, my 14 year old daughter is experiencing severe migraines with vomiting. her hands and tongue-become lame that she cant carry anything or speak clearly. we have been to a gp who has prescribed maxalt. ?

Refer to Neuro: Migraines can cause a multitude of symptoms.With the speak problems and also also tongue ,what has been done so far,what drugs have been taken,has she had a MRI or a Ct scan,etc.How often occusring,when and what is going on around that time,any history of trauma or infection or seizures.Limit caffeine,get plenty of water and 7-8 hours of sleep.can try propylaxis 400 riboflavin/3 mg melatonin
