Hypertension: In the presence of renal artery stenosis, medications like losartan may worsen kidney function. Concomitant use of NSAID medications like Advil or Aleve may also produce kidney function problems. If your blood pressure has risen unexpectedly checking for the presence of causes like renal artery stenosis may be advisable.
