Why would my dr office call and say echo is normal when the report says right ventricle dilated and rvdd at 4.7cm?had done due to chest discomfort

Factors in Echo repo: Would advise contacting the cardiology office. If the patient had a 2D echo, the accuracy relies on the technician that performed the image, the person who read/interpreted the image and the accuracy of the software used. A mere tilting/angling the transducer can make a normal RV size appear larger. As so many factors are involved, contacting their specialty clinic would be recommended.
