Yes it's serious!: A wall motion abnormality is not a normal finding at any age. This could be a sign of myocardial ischemia, or decrease blood flow to that region of the heart. Medical or surgical treatment can improve this condition and prevent further progression. Please continue to see your primary care physician or cardiologist for treatment and follow-up.
