A member asked:

Hello, i am a 35 year old male. got my blood tests today and my ferritin level was 342 ng/ml where the normal range according to the lab is 20 - 300.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not worry: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the slight elevation in ferritin is not a reason to be concerned.
