A member asked:

My blood iron level is 88 (lab normal range 40-190) and ferritin 20 (labs normal range 16-154) . does it look like a methylation problem? (i get a little dose of iron from my multivitamins?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Methylation?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, What is your hemoglobin level? If it is above 12 keep doing what you are doing. Wish you good health!
