OTC NSAIDs: You can try OTC pain meds for temporary relief, but most people don't have room for their wisdom teeth, so it's probably best you see your dentist or oral surgeon for an evaluation and probable extraction.

Wisdom tooth pain: The fact that the tooth is only now erupting may indicate partial impaction or damager to adjacent tissues. Please see your General Dentist or an Oral Surgeon for evaluation and appropriate treatment. OTC pain meds may block your discomfort, but will not cure the problem. Please seek professional care.
