Adverse effects: If you have bright red bleeding, this could be due to hemorrhoids, and/ or colonic problems such as diverticulitis, but the chronic use of aspirin in the setting of ulcers, can exacerbate bleeding in the upper GI tract also. Do recommend visit to gastroenterologist, and urge you to switch to Tylenol at this point. Dental assistance also seems indicated
