My 10 year old daughter is complaining of chest pains. pains comes and goes. in middle of chest. no other symptoms. do i need to worry? this has been going on for about two weeks now.

Location/location: The 2 most common causes at that age are irritation of the swallow tube (GE reflux) that is located just behind the heart a little to the left. Pressure over the area often brings a dull ache. The other would be irritation of the breast bone, the bone that connects the ribs in front. This is center & deep breathing or direct pressure brings it on. Treatment differs for both. Her doc can confirm
