CHRONIC COUGH: Can be allergy, asthma, recurrent viral infection, sinusitis, exposure to respiratory irritants/smoke/strong odor, molds in the house, mycoplasma infection, etc. Needs further evaluation for these and needs test to rule out cystic fibrosis. Make sure the nose is clean, use saline nasal spray 3-4 times/day and let her blow her nose afterwards, enough fluid to drink, keep room temp. 68-70 f.
