A member asked:

My 20 week old baby has a rash which i think may be eczema. i only noticed it when there was a heat wave and she started on solids 3 weeks ago. it doesn't seem to bother. should i do anything besides putting normal lotion on her?

Works for me: Eczema, if true, is quite a variable disorder. It can be so mild it is never labeled, or so intense you fight it with many treatments daily. The primary goal initially is to maintain the skin barrier so germs don't get in. The secondary goal is normal appearance. If simple skin care does the trick, that is all I would do. It will either get worse or not & you can deal with that if it happens.
