Ask ortho!: Your orthopedist will know the answer to this question better than any of us. We don't know how severe the damage is, or your other medical problems. Also, it will depend on how the first surgery goes! Your surgeon can give you some idea of the time between, but the exact time will depend on the results of the surgery and whether or not you do your part in following post-operative instructions
