I have a 23 month old son who has had a cough for 2 weeks, we have been giving him different cough mixtures but it does not help we started him on orolox antibiotics a gp has advised we give purmycin aswell to help wih the cough is this good?

Needs evaluation: 2 year old with prolong cough should get evaluation looking for chest issues by X-ray and blood count for infections. Also consider allergies. If needed should be seen by pediatric pulmonologist
