Strep test: He may have Strep A infection and a throat swab is recommended. COVID 19 may also present with these symptoms, and a screening test may be performed at your local sites. He should self isolate, drink fluids, rest and take Tylenol rather than Motrin for fever. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, and if this occurs, please see the Emergency department.
