Hard to say: A kid at that age is expected to get 3-5 upper respiratory viral infections/yr and antibiotics do not help. The amout & duration of symptoms varies. If the kid is able to feed/drink/play many will just self heal over time. OTC meds are generally worthless beyond giving you something to do. If the kid has run fever or tends to get ear infections a visit may find a treatable problem.
