Common cold: Most likely you have a viral illness, common in winter which is present where you are. It is a reflex to reach for an antibiotic but rarely is there a bacterial cause for your symptoms. You are taking medication to relieve the symptoms and that is fine until your immune system kicks in and gets rid of the virus. Keep warm, avoid spreading it to others, and know that it will soon disappear.
