Im currently taking metformin 500mg 2x a day. i have heard so many stories where metformin damages your kidneys. are there other options i can use in place of metformin. diabetes?

Metformin: is contraindicated in folks with kidney disease but that DOES NOT MEAN IT DAMAGES KIDNEYS!! Hope this is helpful Dr Z
