Inadequate treatment: If on medication your blood sugar remains elevated then treatment is insufficient. Please discuss this with your doctor. Your treatment protocol needs to be revised to address your needs, which may include a review of your blood sugars, medication, diet, etc.

Change therapy!: 1. Strict no concentrated sweet diet- see my diet sheetin health tap. Start now! glyburide is old and dangerous. - ideally stop it after you ask your md about incretins, pioglitazone- much preferred. You may need insulin, but my agressive approach above along with your strict diet will likely avoid need for Insulin with its risk of lw blood sugar and weight gain.
