Fatigue and weight gain. Blood work shows mild hypothyroidism (TSH slightly over 5) but no cold intolerance. Are my symptoms still related to thyroid?
I'm symptomatic of hypothyroid (hair loss, fatigue, cold, fuzzy head...) TSH=3.73 and T4=14. My Dr has said it can't be Thyroid. Is this correct?
TSH 0.02 (0.34-5.6), FT3 4.1 (4-6.6), FT4 13.2, Levothyroxine for 23 years (since 19). Dose 137.5mcg. Female, 5'6, 280lb. Symptoms: brittle nails, hair thinning, dry skin, constantly tired, muscle aches, cold. Why do I feel hypothyroid if TSH so low?
Had nodules on thyroid for yrs. New nodule @ isthmus 1.2, moderately suspicious. Now a new lump @ throat hollow. Symptoms of hypothyroid, w/normal TSH except for high reverse t3. Concerns? Wait a year for new ultrasound?
Hypothyroidism for 11 years. Had 3rd baby Sep19; armour thyroid med was recalled for being too potent and tsh went to .01 in May. Been off all medicine for 8 wks and tsh is now .02. Why still low? Normal T4; Had u/s on thyroid - norm: still nursing
